“Dental experiences are usually not something you brag about. Today my experience was exceptional in all aspects. I can start out by saying I was in an unusual situation due to having an implant to replace a tooth last summer. Well that crown decided that the screw holding it was no longer going to hold it and shattered overnight. Dr. Greenland removed unwanted particles and set me right up to have my crown replaced. He was friendly, informative and very professional. I felt valued and respected under his care. All who work in Dr. Greenland's office can be pride of the service you provide. She has made this process so smooth, because she is kind, and caring, and listens. But more than that she is funny, normal, down to earth and knows her stuff! She is like a tooth artist. “Last year i had to make the difficult decision to have teeth extracted and was in need of a dental prosthetic not just for my everyday confidence but for my fast approaching wedding. The office which did my surgery did not do permanent solutions outside implants and while that would have been my first choice financially it is not an option for me currently. I was referred to Greenland and so I scheduled a consult apprehensively. I have high anxiety and am on the autism spectrum. I easily become overstimulated and overwhelmed and become nonverbal in high stress situations (going to the dentist being a big one for me). The staff thus far has been very patient and accommodating, taking the little extra time I sometimes need for breaks, offering gas for routine care and more. As much as I (sorry) hate the dentist, I think I've finally found one for my everyday dental Healthcare that is a good fit!”

“Both the staff and Dr. Greenland are amazing. Prosthodontists are very rare to find, and we are extremely fortunate to have Dr. Greenland in Grand Rapids. He is highly skilled, confident, positive, excels in taking time to explain to the patient what is needed and why, and the cherry on top is his magnetic personality. My mom over six years had two different dentists make two different sets of outrageously expensive dentures that were absolutely miserable and painful to the point that her food choices were limited to soft items. They were so poorly made that no amount of adjustment could correct them. We found Dr. Greenland, and as soon as we walked into his office, I knew we were finally in competent and caring hands. In just a few months, with Dr. Greenland’s new set of dentures, my mother can eat anything she wants and she is pain-free. I only wish I had known what a prosthodontist was years ago!! “I was referred to Dr. Greenland by my oral surgeons office after just getting new dentures that I knew were wrong and that was confirmed by my oral surgeon. When I went to Dr. Greenland, he noticed right away everything that was wrong. And my dentist refused to work with me when I just got these! They’re supposed to be adjusted and he refused to adjust them. Dr. Greenland spent an insurmountable amount of time with me and even has a lab at his own office. Before I left, my bite was corrected, which never was even checked before. He took my dentures half the way down, which I was told could not happen. That’s how oversized they were. And I was able to wear my dentures, where before I could not even wear them since my teeth were extracted 2 to 3 weeks earlier and I could not eat and lost 15 pounds. Again, my dentist refused to work with me and it was not my fault that they made the dentures wrong . I cannot say enough about Dr. Greenland and his professionalism, his chair side manner, his expertise and everything he did to make me feel comfortable and reassured me that it was not me. It was the dentures. It’s hard enough having to go through this experience and getting dentures, and then have them not fit is traumatizing. I will refer a lot of people to Dr. Greenland and I will for sure be going back to him for anything that has to do with these dentures and making the permanent ones.”

I have a genetic issue that caused me to have 4 painful gum surgeries as a child and has led to 70-80% bone loss in adulthood. I’ve now lost 9 teeth.
